I would love these museums.

I traveled a lot as a kid. The natural history museum in Vienna was like a much dustier version of this, with everything floating in formaldehyde. I used to summer there at my Omi's and loved to go looking at the creatures.

My parents also managed a former great camp in the Adirondacks, a relic from the great white hunter days of the world. Animal bits everywhere: elephant feet umbrella stands, antler chairs and the like.

It was a while before I realized that not everyone had bearskin rugs in front of the fireplace. And that most people REALLY don't have polar bear ones.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the horse skeleton. Nature is so beautiful and f*cked up at the same time :D

btw, I'm looking forward to seeing this, not sure if you'd seen the trailer yet but thought it might interest you
