Stories where the women save the day. Stories where they suddenly get wings, where they mess with the Ancient device that accidentally gives them telepathy, where they figure out the combination of crystals that will fix the DHD. Stories where they kick ass, where they take names, where they leave no one behind. Stories where they hit the target ten times in a row, stories where they learn something new. Stories where the girl gets the guy ... or the girl. Stories where they're the focus, where they're the point. Stories where they win it all.
What we're not looking for:
Stories where the women are foils. Stories where they play matchmaker, stories where they sit quietly while the boys go out and save the day. Stories where an Ancient device turns the woman into a plot device. Stories where they're in the background. Stories where they're in the foreground, but three paces behind the men. Stories where they might win in the end, but it was a man doing all the work.
Anything is welcome, so long as it's 1,000 words. Or a piece of fanart. Gen, het, femslash. As for slash ... you're welcome to include m/m slash in the background, but remember, the whole point of the challenge is to make the women rock. John and Rodney get the spotlight all the time.
