As I may have mentioned in previous Pointless College Posts, I had a fair degree of skill in lockpicking. While I have always used my talents for good, there was one or two instances where I let the Devil get the better of me.
I am sure there was an implicit fear that they were not safe in their own rooms, which would adequately serve to stave off retribution. I figured it best not test that theory.
I do remember another time where one of the brothers I knew handed me a dead bolt to see if I could unlock it. It took a few minutes, but it finally yielded to me. The sour look on his face was interesting. He thought he had just wasted his money, but the truth is that how many potential thieves would go about that route in a frat house?
