High Roller
It was a good night for bowling. I finally had the strong series I was asking for last week. Started off with a 134, which is right around my average. Then I set a new high in the second game, bowling a 173. I was quite proud to finally break through the previous ceiling even though it was only five pin improvement. He said that he was going to take a look at her on Monday but that the body shop has already given their estimate. The prognosis was not good. Wild at Heart
The curse has lifted, maybe. captain_squid and I went to see the Wild host Calgary on Friday and actually saw some very entertaining hockey. Usually, we seem doomed to watch our team come out flat-footed and bumble-sticked. Well, I hope my friends got a good look at my car during their visit because it is likely the last time they will see it. Yes, friends, I was involved in a car accident yesterday. Just to get it out of the way... yes, I am fine. The driver of the other car is fine. The accident didn't turn into a multi-car pile up.
