Starfire walks into the control room, spotting him almost immediately. Starfire had been searching out for her friend for awhile, wanting to know how he was doing. She didn't exactly understand what he must be going through, but she understood that it was very unfortunate for him. Whatever he was feeling now, she wanted to at least be there for him to talk about it if he wished.

So she walks in further and over to the chair he was sitting in, standing behind it. Contemplating on how to approach him. Then she says, "Aqualad, are you doing well?" A simple question first, to start the conversation off.

*doesn't turn to look at her* ... Hey Starfire. I'm as good as could be expected, I guess.

... Sorry you came all that way. We're lucky nothing happened to you guys.

"I think that we are most fortunate that nothing has happened to you. At least, nothing that we have feared," she says, and she kicked herself for coming out the wrong way. "But even though it was not successful, I and everyone else did not have any problems accompanying you."

... Starfire. I. Everyone could have gotten hurt. Or we could have been held captive. That was a personal matter, and I? I made it team business.

*yes, Garth, make no mention of your own personal regret or embarassment...*

The doors slide open as Terra enters, her expression somber and maybe a little regretful. She'd been looking for Aqualad ever since she read over his report -- since she'd had nothing else to do, that was how she had decided to spend her time. That, and she figured it was pretty urgent.

So it's a lucky thing that Aqualad's right there. Even if she can't think of much to say. So why not start with the truth?

"Aqualad," her voice comes out, quieter and more concerned than normal. "I... read the report."

*still staring out at the water* Then... then you know how I lead everyone into danger. That I took my teammates, and the ship, into a hostile territory... All for questions that I never had a chance to get answered. I'm sorry Terra... I put myself before the Titans...

Those are all excellent points, but not what she had planned to bring up at all. So she decides to just go with that for a bit. "That's all true, yeah, but... that really doesn't matter. The important part is that you led your teammates and the ship into hostile territory and everyone got back alive." Because really, the team doesn't need another loss. "I'm... more worried about how you're handling it."

... *evasive* How am I handling what? There's nothing to handle. You... roll with the punches, right?
