I must admit, I was never really a Batman fan. And the crappy movies just drove that point home. But the reinventing of the movie series has really caught my interest - I'm REALLY looking forward to Joker and the eventual appearance of Two-Face, a character that I know these guys could do justice.

You ever watch any of Batman: The Animated Series? A lot of the comics and most of the old movies were/are D-U-M as heck, but B: TAS had some brilliant episodes to it and it's considered a landmark interpretation of the Batverse. And hey! Mark Hamill as The Joker!

As saddened as I am that they appear to be doing the Comic Book Movie Trap of "Let's put more villains in! More villains! More!" these look awesome. Srsly. Batman is just full of the best characters. Also names. Harvey Dent? Great name.

I don't think that'll be a problem, actually. From what I've heard they're just introducing the character of Harvey Dent, DA and Bruce Wayne's friend, as a supporting character, and he only turns into Two-Face at the end to leave a cliffhanger and plot point for the third movie. Or something.
