I was really happy with the early part of the mix... where I just left that Chain Reaction record on and floated other cuts in and out... that's really the only spot where I was running all three decks at once... for the rest of the mix I had records cued up, but I don't think I had three going at the same time after that.
on the whole, fantastic, but that first bit in particular, definitely.
i think you might be aware of and agree that there's been a whole fuckload of people talking about a dubstep/techno crossover as of late, and there's been some great production work in that direction with people like shackleton (with and without villalobos entering the picture), appleblim, peverelist, and t++ making strides. but at the same time, the dj mixes have been pretty weak, including appleblim's recent RA podcast. there's been plenty of dubstep section + techno section mixes, but i've been waiting for one which incorporates the two as obviously and as brilliantly as this one does.
i was seriously stoked to see this one come across the radar today. loving it.
Check out DJ Surgeon's Neck Face mix (under media -> audio)... it's coming from a more techno angle, but digs Aaron Spectre and Scorn out of the bins...

You and I are on exactly the same wavelength for the electronic music right now. I gotta put a mix together one of these weeks.
BTW, have you heard Skream's "Babylon"? My goodness.

I don't think this is quite the sound that will be expected there.
