it would seem that a lot of my friends are predicting the imminent demise of livejournal, due to the seeming exodus towards other sites, but I haven't gone anywhere... I've been busy with school, and some of the fallout from the trip to Detroit

nothing much yet... but they're still working on getting all the charges dismissed. I've been getting regular updates on what's going on, but the situation hasn't changed yet.

it was good! I just got back to Canada yesterday, now I am up early and rather hungover. well, I say home but I mean Toronto. probably Montreal for a few days on Friday though, want to hang at some point?

we'll see... My mother is in town at the moment, she leaves on Saturday morning... I'm not sure what the plan is for the weekend, but I should probably do something. Last paper of the semester was handed in yesterday afternoon!

well... I've been in Montreal for 7.5 years now... don't get back to the prairies much...

Meat Beat did an album on Planet-µ not too long ago - it's pretty solid. Interesting to hear them adapting their old sound to a new rhythm set in order to create something that's both nostalgic and contemporary.
