You know...your posts are like a wholesome tv show...you walk away from it learning something and not feeling like you wasted a half an hour...I enjoy reading them. There is a LOT more pressure on guys these days to "lose it" so to speak. By the age of 14 or 15, if you're a guy and haven't been with a girl, you might as well be gay because guys will give you SUCH a hard time about it...its horrible. And more and more ppl sneak that it's ok to give it up over someone you think you like when you're 16 or 17....and its not. Not only does it make you always wonder, "wow...that other person was sooo much better.." but you've become accustomed to comparing others in an area which is very degrading and hurtful to be criticized in. And thats my take on the whole situation...if none of this made sense just forget I said it :-/

Melissa is one of my oldest and most treasured friends. A lot of my personality has been shaped because of her. Sometimes I wonder why she is the way that she is, but then I tell myself not to think about that. She views the world in a very differnt way than most teenagers and nothing has gotten in her way. She's better than most of us in more ways than I can say. I think that most people that know her don't appreciate all she has to offer in a friendship. Listen now, I'm not mad about what you said but telling her she's critizising people in a hurtful place is the wrong thing to say. She has the right to say things like that, and sometimes its what people need to hear. For all you know, what she says on here can make some people change. She's never strayed from her beiefs or morals, and she would never let herself. There's a lot to look up to in Melissa. She's one of the strongest people I've ever known.
