*grumble grumble*
I swore to myself after the clowns got elminated I wouldn't watch TAR. And last week, I kept my promise. (Well, the blackout forced me to keep my promise, heh.) For some reason though, I watched tonight. Not that I liked *any* team left (I truly hated every single one left), I was just curious I guess.
It ended up coming down to the Chippendales and Jon and Kelly. (Team Who?? got absolutely no screen time after they screwed up with their flights out of Australia. heh) Now, I hate Chip and Reichen. I hate Kelly and Jon. But for some reason, I thought of Kelly and Jon as the lesser of two evils. So I was rooting for them to win. And of course? They lost.
My hatred for Chip and Reichen elevated from "meh" to "OMG SHUT UP" two weeks ago when they were in Korea. They had done things in the past to bother me, but that episode just solidified my dislike for them. They were stuck with a cab driver in Korea who spoke no English, while the other teams had drivers who understood at least a little English. The couple started flipping out on their cab driver - threatening not to pay him, screaming at him, etc, all because he couldn't speak English. They even screamed things like, "WHY CAN'T YOU SPEAK ENGLISH FOR GOD'S SAKE." That comment caused me to scream right back at him (as though he could hear me...sigh, i tend to talk to people on the teevee alot. heh), "BECAUSE YOU'RE IN KOREA, YOU ASSHOLE." Seriously. In my eyes, Reichen and Chip are the epitome of ignorant Americans who think they're better than everyone else. They didn't seem to realize that in Korea, *they* were the minority. *They* were the ones who stuck out, because they didn't speak the native tongue. That whole "He should speak English because WE DO!" thing just PISSED me off to no end.
Not saying the other teams haven't done equally as annoying things. Kelly and Jon's bickering and whatnot in the beginning made me hate them. And Kelly's hatred for Millie (who kicked ASSSS), with the whole "Millie the Mole!" and Jon's addition with "moley moley moley mole!" was too much for me.
Dave and Jeff were hot. Specifically Jeff. But they were so stupid. And should've been gone WEEKS beforehand (Emo boy and his daddy should've been there til the end. *sniff*)
The only team, in my eyes, truly worthy of the million...the only team who did nothing to grate on my nerves, who, in fact, made me giggle to no end constantly, were the clowns. God save the clowns. THEY WERE ROBBED!!!
In other, non-related news - trowa and I have decided that Thom from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy *has* to be bisexual. He just has to. He joked about it on the Tonight Show last week, specifically saying, "That's right - I'm BIIIII sexual." I will HOLD HIM TO THAT REMARK, damnit.
Saturday, taelynne and I are going to see a Police Athletic League charity softball game against THE CAST OF THIRD WATCH. :oDDDDDD Watch out Coby Bell, Jason Wiles, and Eddie Cibrian, you sexy men you! HERE COMES fishergirl819!!! :o)
PS - My new guilty pleasure this summer is The O.C. I love it love it love it love it love it. Seth and Ryan 4evaaaah baby.
