Last fall, with the impending release of Windows Vista, I decided that I was going to free myself from Microsoft's grip; there was no way that I was going to be in thrall to an operating system that would cost an arm and a leg (since I build my own desktops now), leave me even less freedom with my purchase (migrating XP was enough of a nightmare), ( Read more... )

i installed ubuntu on my external hard drive so i could back up my files after my windows os got corrupted. i too will switch over to ubuntu full time in the near future. :)

I keep bugging him to switch but I think he's still stuck in the 90s.

I'm surprised he doesn't play strictly on a SNES and PSX. It's the same logic.
