Tim had gone actively looking for Bridget with a real purpose in mind, other than 'hang about Bridget' which was the usual one.

"Oi," he greeted as casualy as he possibly could which, resultingly, wasn't very, but was acceptably so, when he found her.

Bridget had actually been working, believe it or not. She'd gotten the idea into her head that if she wasn't going to be able to do much anyway, she might as well be productive about it. She'd decided to go back to writing-- an article for the Times.

And while 'oi' wasn't necessarily the most polite way to go about getting someone's attention, she ignored it for the moment.

"Oh, hullo," She said, looking up.

"Um, hello," he answered, as the first attempt at being brashly or ruggedly cute had failed utterly and he was better at the other stuff, anyway, "are you- Oh."

She actually was busy. Damn.

"Sorry. You're, um. Working."

"Oh, no. This?" She looked down at her papers, then back up at Tim. "No, no, I'm not busy. I was just...I was writing an article."

Or attempting to write an article. One or the other. Probably the latter.

"Is that good?" he asked, smiling a little. "Getting bakc to work? I mean, not the kind of journalism you used to do, but still something, yeah? What are you writing about?"
