Tim had gone for what he was afraid was possibly the lamest option he could have come up with, which was a picnic. It seemed to be a general rule in Bridget's life that whenever there was something even remotely important happening, she was late. It was like clockwork, or actually, quite remarkably unlike clockwork.

Such was the case this evening, as after spending a little more time than she'd planned on getting ready, and dropping Dixon off with a babysitter, she found herself running behind schedule.

Needless to say, when she finally made it to the door of the compound- not terribly late- in the purple sundress that the clothes box had been kind enough to give her, she looked just a little frazzled.

"Sorry, I'm...late," She said, immediately apologizing, "I was sort of...hung up with the babysitter and..." She trailed off, doing a fantastic job of preventing herself from rambling excessively.

"...hullo."

"Hi," Tim greeted, smiling, suppressing a laugh. "It's fine, it- really. You look great," he said, because it was true, and kissed her cheek.

"Oh. Thank you," Bridget replied, a grin easily settling onto her face. She was just happy that the clothes box had given her something besides the spandex that it had presented her with for the entire week beforehand.

That certainly would have warranted a strange explanation.

"So...um, shall we?" She said, even though Bridget wasn't even sure what Tim had planned.

"Yeah," he said brightly, moving to hold the door open for her. "Absolutely. I'll have you know," he said with mock seriousness, falling into step beside her, "I have been positively scouring the island for the perfect spot for this. Um, I didn't find it, though, so I figured we'd just pick a rock and make it work."
