For reasons which I'm not sure I entirely understand, I was given a $25 gift certificate to B&N by the deli. Hey, don't look a gift book in the mouth. So, Dzur arrived today... And I don't have time to read it. *cry*

It wasn't bad. Not as good as Orca or Issola, but ymmv.

It's a fast read, mind. Now if only he published them more frequently......

Yeah, it didn't really do all that much for me, actually. It's kind of like... nothing really happened. Meh. Too bad, I've been looking forward to it for a long time.

Maybe now he's done with the Viscount series he'll be writing more Vlad.

yeah. I mean, I liked the Mario stuff, and I quite like Zunagon, and he moved forward on the Cawti/Vlad Norathar thing, but honestly....yeah. Not much happened.

...and it'll be awhile 'til the next one, too. foo.
