Trip, fall, bruise, stumble, slip, fall again, land ass-up-in-the-air with blood on his chin-but he’ll keep going, keep trying to come at the enemy with every inch of soul he’s got.
So, really, Jelly thinks, there’s no point in spoiling things by telling Jonathan O’Neill that the only reason the enemy sticks around is because she’s waiting for him to rise and run again.
