We got him Friday from my aunt. He is 12 years old and was in desperate need of a good home where he'd be loved and properly cared for. I took him to the vet today and found out he has hyperthyroidism, as well as a heart murmur. I'll get blood tests back today to make sure everything else comes out alright, because diabetes is another concern. Poor guy, he's so good and mighty handsome. Hate to see animals suffer, but you wouldn't know he was sick unless you knew what to look for.
Other than that, nothing else is new with us. I start work term Monday and Jer started 2 thursdays ago. Life is moving on.
