1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Drive a tractor, broke down crying in front of a teacher, write sonnets, get singing lessons, straightened my hair permanently
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't think I had any, because last year ended really well for me, but I'll definitely make some for next year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Mom's great uncle, but we weren't really that close.
5. What countries did you visit?
USA (Kansas, Colorado), Czech Republic
6. What would you like to have in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
Time for myself and my friends and family, a job would be good, too...
7. What date from 2006 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I can never remember dates, but the day my brother came back from America was really special.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I won a local writing competition second year in a row, I got into our theatre's youth club, I got a friend to admit she has a problem, and I learned something important about myself that wasn't easy to admit.
9. What was your biggest failure?
I played with someone else's feelings, I lost control of my life a time or two.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Just the usual colds, and then the inflammations of my hip.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
The plain tickets to America! <3 Best and most expensive thing!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My brother's, teacher's, and friend's.
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed? Worried?
Appalled: A close friend
Depressed: My own

14. Where did most of your money go?
Train /plane tickets, cloths, candy
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
RENT, several Animes, House M.D., my brother coming back, meeting old and new friends, theatre, Connichi, Japan exchange program...

All the songs in RENT, "Mr. Brightsight" - The Killers, "Goodbye Logik" - Madsen, "I write sins not tragedies" - Panic! at the Disco, "Don't cha" - Pussycatdolls, "I won't say (I'm in love) - Disney's Hercules, the one Nickleback song with the line "Tonight you killed me with your smile"

Sleeping, studying, listening.

With my mother, father, and brother, pretending to be a functioning family, same as ever.

Not love love, but I had/have a crush on someone.

One.
24. What was your favourite TV programme?
House M.D. (!!!), Ouran High School Host Club, Prince of Tennis
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
I wouldn't say I hate anyone, but I learned something about someone that makes me like them less.
26. What was the best book you read?
hmm..."Die Leiden des jungen Werther" (Goethe), "Der Vorleser" (Bernhard Schlink), "The Handmaid's Tale" (Margaret Atwood)...so much for the books I read for school...other than that...I loved Mother Goose Nursery Rymes, Sherlock Holmes, and a long list of old fairytales...
27. What was your greatest musical (re)discovery?
RENT, Jekyll Hyde, Miyavi,... very long list...
28. What did you want and get?
15 points in my art class, summer vacation in Kansas,...
29. What did you want and not get?
A job, more than 11 points in my German class, surgery on my hip (not that I really wanted that, but it should have been done...), a white board (!!!)
30. What was your favourite film of this year?
hmm...RENT! ... Brokeback Mountain (was that this year?)
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 19. I don't like uneven numbers, they are hard to remember. But still this birthday was amazing! I had to go to school, but when I came home, i had some surprise visitors - my uncle, aunt and godchild (She's the sweetest little thing!). Later tat afternoon my grandparents came and they brought their friends from Bavaria (I love to hear them talk! So funny!). And that night I went to a Bela B. concert! <3 How can anyone my dad's age be so (!) hot?! <3
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
It would have been great to drop out of school and start acting school early. I have to get out of this citiy, fast!
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
On good days: Somewhere between emo-girly with short skirts and skulls and rock star with worn out jeans and a half unbuttoned dress shirt.
On bad days: Layers over layers, huge sweaters, scarfs to cover up half of my face.
34. What kept you sane?
I'm not sure anything did. If something did then it was talking to my friends.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Other then myself? Just kidding. Hugh Laurie I guess...amazing what that man can do with his face...
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
University fees, also Iraq thing still gets me...there should've been more but I'm just a very political person...
37. Whom did you miss?
My American friends and host family, friends that live to far away to visit them whenever I want. And my dad.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
I don't know....the half naked, wrestling cowboys were more than just a little interesting, oh and my theatre friends, and band friends, ...I met so many great people!
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2006:
If you want to do something, don't wait for anybody to tell it's okay, just go and do it!
