Well, when you said Austen, along with some at least vaguely fantasy-ish stuff, it occurred to me that you might like Sorcery and Cecelia, or the Enchanted Chocolate Pot, it was basically given a longer name upon being reprinted or some such. It's a story told through only the correspondence between two girls of the Regency period, and is in some ways is very reminiscent of Austen, except that it takes place in a slightly alternate world where magic is real.
If you like it, there are two follow-up books, The Grand Tour and The Mislaid Magician that are also fun.
Also, have you read the Laura Ingalls Wilder stuff? If you've liked both Austen and Montgomery, you might like those as well.
