Third time's a charm???
So, this is the third time I have tried to post this week!!! Everytime I do it, my entry VANISHES!!! I don't know where it goes! So, apparently I haven't updated in a while. Yeah...I've been busy ;)...I'll just tell you about the fun stuff!!! Well, first Frances came, and she brought Moomoo, Hollye, and Joey. I was so excited that they came! To be honest, I was tipsier that night than ever in my life (I had FOUR SMIRNOFFS!! sp?) BUT, I was by no means drunk. Anyways, Me, Amy, Lori, Hollye, Joey, and Moomoo all went to dinner, then we called Lori's friend Trevor and went to a club!! The club TOTALLY sucked (it was CRAZY!!! it had a country line dancing bar, a kareoke bar, and a hip-hop kinda bar all in one) but we had a lot of fun. Lori is a lot of fun! I am so glad that she randomly found out about our place, and I am even more glad that she is over twenty-one!!! Even Amy is getting in on the action! Lori buys us stuff anytime we want it, and she is crazy (in a good way) so we are ALWAYS having fun. Anyway, Moomoo and them left early Sunday, then I had a week of school, then another weekend!!! Or wait? Oh I don't know...So lets skip to the next hurrican-IVAN!!!! Seriously WHO NAMES A HURRICANE IVAN?!?!?! Gimme a break! Not even a frickin moron should do something that dumb!! But anyway, for Ivan, my mom, dad, brother, dog, and two cats came and lived in my room for two nights. That was insane. Also, Little Holley and her parents came, and my grandparents, aunt and cousins came, but they did not stay here. In a way, it was sad that the only reason all these people came to see me was because of a killer storm, but I was still happy they came. Little Holley LOVES my house and cried when she had to leave... :( Fortunately, though it suffered some minor water damage (the roof leaked and the water came up our back door) our house in Gulf Breeze was very much intact. The stories I have heard about our friend's homes (and lack thereof) have truly given me chills, and I cannot imagine what they are going through. I hope you and all of your families weathered it okay. But this is depressing, so onto more exciting news!!!!
Really, I haven't got much more to say! Oh, on the reccomendation of Kelli Murphy, I saw The Dreamers. EW. I did not like it. It was gross, and I think I am scarred for life. Seriously, the nudity might not have been so bad if it weren't for the fact that it was brother-sister-random guy kinda stuff...BLECK!!
So, truth be told, I have finally REALLY began to appreciate the value of weekends! Monday through Friday kill me, but once Friday night comes it is TIME FOR FUN!! Tomorrow we are going to the pool until Lisette gets off, then I think we are all four going out or something...Sadly, three roomates get along better without the fourth...I mean, don't get me wrong, I love Lisette, and I'd do anything for her, but she is always with Nate (her boyfriend) and she kinda secludes herself downstairs a lot. But me and Lori and that other girl get along great! :) So, here is an update on the boring stuff. I have a C------ in organic chem, and I am proud to report I have gotten BIG FAT O's on the first two quizzes. Yeah...That's a Bitch. So I turn to biology, which I currently have a-er-D+++ in!!! WOOO...We took a test Monday that I think I did fairly well on, so that should come up though. My family dynamics and Intro to Ex. Phys classes are fun, and I am-and let me emphasize this-TOTALLY IN LOVE with my CPR teacher. HE IS SO FINE! I am so going to fake my own death in there one of these days...just for a little mouth to mouth....
Well, that is how I spend M-W-F. Tuesdays and Thursdays I work. Which I like, because I get money and I am doing something that warrents respect and that will help me get into med school. However, I am finding it hard to really ENJOY...The more I get to know everyone there, the more I see how much they DO NOT all get along, and that is not a very comfy position. Plus, some of them seem to think its okay to tell me to do contrasting things, or they feel that they have to talk to me like I've never done this crap before...Sometimes it annoys me. Like today. It annoyed me. But then I got cake and it was a little better. There is actually one other girl that seems to be in about the same position as I am, she walks on eggshellls so as not to piss anyone else off. I see friendship potential there.
Oh yeah! I am making lots of friends at school this year, but I am always so busy that I tend to fail to call them when I say I will...(oops...)But ANYWHO! One of them has a lot of connections and BASICALLY has a copy of all of our bio tests ahead of time!!!! Don't worry, it is not cheating, it is just "good measures"... ;)So hopefully our friendship stays on the right track. She is also giving me some stuff from another organic chem class so that maybe I can pass the bastard of a class and get on with organic two...
Well, you may be asking yourselves "Why is Rachel up so darned late??" Lemme tell ya!!! Me and Lori are playing a prank on Amy!!! HEHE!!! We are SMOTHERING her door in tape so that when she gets up (in the dark without her contacts) in the morning, she will get stuck!!!! HAHA!!!! It will be a blast!!!! OH yeah!!! Moo might be coming back in the VERY NEAR FUTURE!!! Lets cross our fingers!!!! (although by no means does that mean I want ANOTHER hurricane to come, I just want moo to come back!!!) I must be off though, I have mischief to cause!!! See you all later!!!
