most of that shit is done via flash these days - i've found that the flashblock extension for firefox makes things alot quieter for me.

I am putting a midi background sound on my pages now, for those that are blocking flash. Also, some spinning skulls and dripping blood bars.

Seriously, count me in on the pages with sound hating club. I wont go to myspace pages since most show no respect for their visitors by doing that.
