Apparently Al got switched from woody to potato, perhaps when Carl came over to help me 'upgrade' my kernel. I put upgrade in quotes, because I also found out my kernel is bad. So that's why I was having all those problems. I'm currently trying out another window manager (icewm) since all I have ever used is WindowMaker. Not sure what I think ( Read more... )

Right now I'm not very happy with Aldeberan (yes, I named my computer). I decided to uninstall gaim and reinstall it because it had up and decided that the little bar at the top was not necessary (the little bar at the top of all windows in WindowMaker that enables you to move the windows, minimize, shade, etc.).
