Reading afro_dyte's latest post found here: http://afro-dyte.livejournal.com/25993.html made me start thinking of my own religious journey. I'm not sure how I got where I am. Well, I am, but I'm not. I'll see if my library has The Essential Guide. I think I can bum off a good copy of one of the translations you mentioned from a friend.

I don't live in Richmond, but when I visit my friend, I'll see about visiting. She goes to http://www.tikvatisrael.com/ I immensely enjoyed it when I went.

Thanks for replying! I'm glad you were able to glean something from the post. :D

Jesus was quite liberal for his days. He was in constant disagreement with pious religious leaders, people who were focused on "traditions" and condemning people for the littlest things.
