I saw Avatar online yesterday. I decided that while I did want to see it, I didn't want to spend the money to do so. I couldn't stand it. I couldn't stand another moment of the white guy being accepted by the "savages" falling in love and then saving the day. I completely cringed at the part where all the Na'vi gathered to help Grace into the body of her Avatar and I didn't even need to finish watching the movie (which I didn't because Megavideo cut me off with the 72 minute limit) to know that that would be Jake's fate (only successfully) at the end so that he could stay. And GOD! that whole riding the magical beast. What, no one else thought of capturing the animal that way???
I couldn't take my brain out of it unfortunately. Worthington was so boring though, that I should have been able to and the over the top villains were annoying. If it weren't for Zoe, I wouldn't have bothered to watch it.

Anyway, shinyness aside, I share your girl crush. Just saying! She was probably the most down-to-earth character. Neytiri wasn't bad either, especially when she was yelling at Jake all bad-ass and whut. xD
