Wow. Just ... God, it's depressing, isn't it? And yet he's exactly right about what's happening now and what will likely begin to happen over the next few weeks. I can only hope that Obama can somehow pull off a hat trick and make something real happen.

Him speaking up now doesn't undo the harm he did. But at the same time, his words might carry weight with those who'd dismiss them from (in their view) the usual anti-corporate naysayers.

I wish I lived in a civilized country with universal health care.
