Happy New Year!

The holidaze were just that - a whirlwind of visitors and food and bright lights! My mom came out for Christmas, and it was a mixture of fun, awesomeness and horror. What is it about parents, mom's especially, as they get older, they get...so...helpless? I was sad and relieved to see her go. As for New Year's, my friend, Nate, came into town.

I really miss those times too, sometimes (even though it wasn't until the end of the '90s that I started going to raves).

Haven't kept up with the dance music scene in a long time, but once in a while something fun comes my way. A lot of what I hear tends to be coming from the chiptune scene, though, like DJ Scotch Egg:
