Pros & Cons of 30

So one of the girls on my favorite morning show on XL turned 30 today and since it will be my time to turn 30 in just 7 months I thought this post she made would be appropriate for me to post. As I am freaking about about being 30, I am also trying to embrace it

Turning 30 CONS:

-You're no longer 'in your 20s'

-You can't get away with little to no

Anyways, As scary as 30 can be- feel happy because you can look back at your 20's & know you have had your time to yourself. Didn't rush anything & let true love walk into your life when it was ready too. I admire you, literally one of the most caring, thoughtful, & beautiful girls I have ever met.

I couldn't ask for a better best friend.

So, I know that even though you are 30.. this is about to be a new chapter in your life with Dan. Hoping for baby this year ;)

I love this list! So true - I'm already feeling it (behind I'm not far behind you). I'm one of the few freaks, though, that hates being carded - still. Maybe it's the old woman part of me - but I think people several years younger than I am are oboxious and immature. Hence, I'm still excited not to be one of them/confused as one of them. It also may be due to the fact that I work in at place where I kind of hide what age I am (because I'm so young for the office - I feel like people won't take me seriously if they knew I was still in my twenties). That's probably why.

Anyway - you look fucking fantastic & you're healthy, too. You're surrounded by love & you have all of what counts. With those facts in mind, you're going to fucking rock 30 :)
