heh, you didn't like Hercules too much... i'm a greek mythology lush, so i was uber-excited to see it in theatres -- and felt greatly let down. bored. i'm not even a fan of Hercules as a character, as he is too beefy & impetuous, but Disney could have injected more life into the proceedings.

btw, how was your junior year? how are you omg i've not seen you in forever + 1 day.

I figured that Disney would change the story a lot, but I was still annoyed with the lot. And Hercules isn't my favorite Greek hero either.

My junior year was... interesting. I spent three and a half months in Europe - mostly Spain, a week in Paris. But I've finally transferred, I start at Berkeley in the fall. (cue the hissing and spitting between rival schools).

Otherwise, I'm pretty good, it has been ages and ages since I've seen you. What are you up to? Going to grad school? Gainfully employed?

3.5 months in Europe, you lucky bitch. Congrats on the transfer to Cal! Hope you aren't looking for any hotties of the male persuasion there, as the XY population makes Stanford look like the Elysian Fields of Dating.

Right now I'm working at The News Tribune in Tacoma, WA, finishing up my scholarship/fellowship dealie. After that, maybe some form of graduate school.

P.S. I'm having lunch or din with Mr. Chan next week? Weird, eh? Evidently he's visiting the Great White North for a wedding

Yep, and all my photos are on flickr: flickr.com/photos/aidaluthien

I'm not really looking for romance, so I guess it'll be ok.

Hehe, I actually went to a BBQ hosted by Mr. Chan a couple weekends ago. He made lamb among other things. Yum! He's still the same, though more gray hair now.
