Mindblowing? I really don't think so. The mindblowing thing would have been the same damn thing happening for the 44th time in a row. This is more of a "Finally" moment.

In all seriousness...I kinda agree with you. Do you really think this could have happened ever before? 'Mindblowing' is definitely not the right word to use, but I'm not sure about 'finally' either. I think 'unprecedented' or 'historic' would have been better.

Sure, that goes without saying. But historicalness or unprecedence doesn't make a difference. Could have been a black lesbian atheist paraplegic for all anyone cared. People voted Not Republican this election.

Agreed. It doesn't really matter who is in the daddy chair. This election was a referendum on the last eight years, and the result was clear and resounding. The democrats, with all the power they have now, need to show that their way is really better.
