The next two weeks are going to leave me unfulfilled and kicking myself for not spending my last few days in New Paltz in a way I would have much rathered.
I find myself listening to so much sad bastard music lately. I'll go for days listening to the same Neil Young, Elliott Smith or Leonard Cohen record and nothing else. It makes me feel strangely comfortable and warm. In combination with the mid-spring weather, in contrast to the April showers, I'm okay with these sorry saps whisking me into May

Well, it's nearing 6:30 in the morning and I think this has been the most productive Thursday night/Friday morning that I've had in years. I roll into Huntington Station with April at around 11:30, say my goodbyes as she continued east to Northport and waited for Phil in the snowy tundra that Huntington has become.
