Hi everyone! After being here a couple days, I thought I'd share my progress. I've been dieting on and off for the last couple of months. However, since I started posting my own progress on my journal and started speaking to other brides-to-be and former brides about their diets, I've been able to keep to my diet quite well. Think it's possible for me to drop 8 lbs in two weeks? LOL! My wedding's on the 4th of July, so it's really less than that! Your menu sounds yummy! Yay for your success, and you've got a long time before your wedding. Wish I had started early like that. I'm 5'5" and 141-142 lbs. I wanted to be 125, but that's impossible now. Did I mention I eat when stressed? :)

Hehe. Yes actually. :) I think you exercise 3-4x each week, and eat mostly veggies (steamed or otherwise), you'll end up losing that much... maybe a little less. I know that if I was really into it, I'd lose much more a lot faster. But I want to take it slow so my eating habits change with my body. This way, I also learn how to eat properly for a longer period of time ... not just a short one.

I'm 5'0 evening and currently at 127 lbs. I used to weigh 100-105 lbs. I don't care if I get that close anymore. I just want to get to 115 lbs. before I buy my dress. :)

I used to be a stress eater too (started senior year of college). Whenever I get stressed, I drink water now. Seriously it helps. I think of it as peeing my frustrations away. lol.

Good for you. I'm just starting out with mine. Kenny (my future hubby) and I are working out every night together and I notice it gives me so much more motivation than if I was doing it by myself. Congrats!!!!

Thank you. :) I so agree about working out together. It really helps! Mark and I push each other to run a little further each time we go. It's such a great motivator.
