Have you played in an LJ based game before? Yes-- Adstringendum (left last year, came back just recently), ms_elegante (till it's close), Hometrail (no longer) and a_facility (no longer), all at different times, occasionally overlapping. I currently play in Somarium as well, with Aqua.
Currrently Played Characters: n/a

Character Information

General
Canon Source: Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Canon Format: Video Game
Character's Name: Aqua
Character's Age: 19

What form will your character's NV take? A small, handheld computer in the shape of a Wayfinder. It projects a little holographic keyboard/videoscreen when in use. If it's alright, I'd like her own Wayfinder to have turned into this. (Or at least it seems like it has, l-lol)

Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Long list is long, so here's a link!

Aqua's style of fighting is described as 'Tricky'. Very magic-based with a lot of agility as her forte. Capable of cartwheeling while attacking with her Keyblade- not an easy task. Being much slighter than her two friends, Aqua relies greatly on her mobility and magic; though don't let that fool you. She still packs quite a punch in the strength department. (Just not in comparison to say, Terra.) She is a master of Magic, able to master all forms of it, rather than leaning towards a certain style-type (e.g.: Ventus for Air, Terra for Earth-based magic and attacks).

Second only to Master Xehanort in terms of magic amongst any of the Keyblade users, including Terra and Ven, as well as Sora and Riku. Aqua favors Fire, Ice and Thunder spells quite a bit, and can cast Reflect spells indefinitely without tiring. She has been able to augment her jumps with magic, allowing her to leap much higher than normal people should- even trained Keybladers, and coupled with her slight frame, Aqua is a difficult target to strike. Out of the three main characters, Aqua is the only one who becomes a Master Keyblader.

Command Styles! There are many, so I'll list a few, and give a mini description.

Spellweaver: Exclusive to Aqua. Utilizes the power of light to hover her Keyblade in midair, attacking enemies with speed as well as enhancing her magic capabilities. As this is a Command Style, Aqua can perform other magic while in this style. The finishing move is a magical spin attack.

Thunderbolt: Enhances thunder and lightning based magic. Finisher is a summoned ball of electricity, which Aqua thrusts her Keyblade into to cast multiple, deadly lightning bolts to rain down upon her enemy.

Firestorm: Enhances fire based magic. Finisher has Aqua leap in the air and hurl fireballs at her enemy, which erupt into pillars of flame.

Diamond Dust: Enhances Ice/Blizzard based magic. The finisher is a summoned formation of ice that shatters afrer a certain amount of time.

Frozen Fortune: Second Ice/Blizzard based Command Style. It is randomly activated by filling the Command Gauge with an Ice Cream item. The finisher consists of Aqua summoning multiple balls of ice that shatter after a certain amount of time.

Level 2 Command Styles

Ghost Drive: A high speed Command Style exclusive only to Aqua. It allows her to attack enemies at high speeds while using after-image illusions and tricky movements. The finishing is Aqua circling a certain area before creating a large explosion.

Bladecharge: Her Keyblade resembles a Light-Blue sword. Long range-style. The finisher is a great spin of her blade before smashing it into the ground.

Sky Climber: Grants Aqua a great midair advantage, allowing her to ride her Keyblade around to attack enemies at high speeds. Finisher consists of Aqua mounting her keyblade, striking multiple enemies before flying skyward and crashing back down. This is followed by Aqua spinning on herself to create a small tornado, effectively knocking enemies back, as well as damaging.

Additional Abilities include Dimension Link; an ability that allows Aqua to summon powers from characters of other worlds, and use them in battle. This is time regulated.

Another ability is her Shotlock command. Consists of Prism Rain, Bubble Blaster, and Lightbloom. All of which are ranged attacks that strike by thrusting energy based attacks.

(Other Notes:)

As her friends, (and most of the main characters of Kingdom Hearts), Aqua is a Keyblader, and a Master to boot. Her default Keyblade is the Rainfell, though she gains a number of other Keyblades throughout her journey. - Another note; Aqua's Rainfell is used to transform into her Glider, much like Terra and Ventus. Aqua also wears armor on either forearm, and with a strike to the main pad, it activates the rest of her armor, effectively covering her full body. This armor protects her against the darkness in the Lanes Between worlds.

Aqua's Wayfinder goes to a matching set that goes with both Ventus and Terra's own. She made them to commemorate their friendship. It is theorized that the Wayfinders are what triggers/assists with the Dimension Links, joining friends across great distances.

Conditional: If your character has no superhuman canon abilities, what dormant ability will you give them? Since Aqua can perform magic, with or without her Keyblade, I'm going to nix this unless told otherwise. Since performing different types of magic seems like a neat superpower, if you ask me.
Weapons: Keyblades; Rainfell (Default), Stormfall, Brightcrest, Eraqus' Keyblade.

History/Personality/Plans/etc.

Character History: Because I'm a derp and chose to take her from the end of the game... Here's a Wiki Link!

Point in Canon: Having just dove into the Darkness after Terra in the end of the game.

Character Personality:
Aqua is very mature for her apparent age. She is probably around 19 or 21 years old, but she acts very much like a young lady. She's polite, respectful of elders, and rarely raises her voice, even when upset. Her voice is rather monotonous, especially while 'on the job', but she isn't afraid to be seen as sentimental or emotional. She can be brutally honest, blunt, but also very encouraging. Aqua is fiercly loyal to her friends Terra and Ventus, however, and is very comfortable teasing them.

Being a powerful mage has it's perks, believe me, and she's no slouch in the strength department, but she is still physically weaker that both her friends; even Ventus is stronger than her in most aspects. She does her best to make up for it all the same, with both agility, flexibility, speed and Magic. Aqua is quite the gymnast; Cartwheels as her default dodge move, and Baton Twirling as her Break Time move.

She has quite a lot of self-confidence and is very self-assured, though she stays humble about it. She never brags nor comes off as arrogant about becoming a master. She has uncompromising faith in her own beliefs, almost to the point where she comes off as arrogant; she assumes she knows what's best for others. Aqua puts great faith in her Master and friends, though it can be a fault at times; (at one point, Ventus tells her that becoming a master has gone to her head), it it also one of her greatest strengths.

Aqua is very similiar to Riku in Kingdom Hearts 1, but still different enough to not be a repeated (or in this case original) character type. Where they both come off as very self assured and confident, Riku is the one who comes off as arrogant and brash. It's not ego that pushes Aqua along, but a genuine belief in what she says and that it's the right thing.

For the most part, Aqua is very by-the-book. She follows orders without question, and is in no way a pushover when it comes to talking their way around her own. If she says no, she means no. (Unless you can sneak around.) When Eraqus tells Aqua to keep an eye on Terra, she doesn't pipe up that maybe he's wrong about Terra. That maybe Terra should be given the benefit of the doubt. No, Eraqus' word is law, in a sense, and she blindly follows the order. While the direct notion for her to bring Ventus home was never really given, she is very quick to decide for herself that this was that best option. Ven did not need to do what he needed, was too young and ill-trained, and should go home and stay safe immediately.

She had quite a lack of trust in her friends, despite what is intially shown. Even when Terra and Ventus confront her about her following Eraqus' orders, she never once denies nor puts up a fight. It isn't until she realizes how much Terra is upset that she tries to give an excuse. Ventus may have been right when he accused her of having let her Mastery go to her head.

Aqua relies on Eraqus. A lot. Not only as her Master, but as her guide(book) in a sense. What Eraqus says, she does, no questions asked. So when Eraqus is killed, Aqua is left in a sort of lost limbo. Without the guidance, she isn't entirely sure what to do. Following her heart, though easy in some cases, is a lot more difficult to determine now. When Terra falls to darkness, even after having struggled to defeat him, she follows him blindly, sacrificing herself to return him to the Realm of Light. On the one hand, this was very brave of her; protecting a friend at the cost of herself, while on the other... Not so bright. Terra was dangerous, she was barely able to defeat him intially, and granted she could never know what sort of disasters would come from Terra/Xehanort (possibly into Xemnas).

Character Plans: I'm not sure yet; but I'm more than okay with getting Aqua involved in any big-game plots, as well as smaller ones based in casts or specific characters.

Writing Samples

First Person Sample

[For anyone who had met Aqua upon her arrival, they would notice the vivid lack of armor adorning her frame first and foremost. Blue hair and matching eyes were still the same, but at least the top half of her outfit could now be seen. But this video is not a fashion show, get out. This is an introduction! And a formal one, it seems, as Aqua has set it up so as to sit across and film herself in a proper manner.]

[But where to start...]

Hello. [A glance off screen; sign of nervousness?] Due to the.. fact- that it seems I may be here for quite a while, I thought it would be polite to introduce myself. My name is Aqua- I'm a friend of Terra and Ventus, if you know them. Please don't be afraid to say hello.

[She finishes up with a smile, her nerves seeming to have passed on. There's an awkward moment of the woman sitting there, almost unsure what to do- maybe they weren't completely gone, those nerves-- Before she gets up and turns the feed off.]

Third Person Sample

The first thing to come to, was that it was cold. Not sharp or unnatural- but there was definitely a breeze. One filled with nature's coming season, rather than the tang of something darker. Eyes opened slow, deep blue peering out into across the horizontal world- only to right itself as she lifted her head. Slowly, carefully, she lifted herself to a seated position.

A village? Not a familiar one- though it could have been an unexplored district of Radiant Garden, if she thought about it. But that couldn't be right. She'd dove into the darkness. She'd been so sure she'd gone through. She had. And yet, here she was, in a strange town, no closer to finding her lost friend. What had happened to him?

Grasping at her thoughts, Aqua pulled to her feet. "This doesn't make any sense.. Where am I?" Her hand flexed, expecting to feel the familiar weight of her Keyblade- but it wasn't so. Instead, there was a small device of some sort. Brief fiddling revealed.. Well not much. Aqua wasn't exactly technologically inclined. A commincative device, she knew now, at least. But it didn't seem to help her any further.

Tucking it sharply into her pocket, the young woman turned heel with a direction in mind, and set out for the nearest street. The nearest person. Store. Something. She needed to know where she was, how she could leave.

She had to find Terra. Even if that meant somehow returning to the darkness.

Her voice was hushed. "Maybe.. This is the Darkness. And I just don't know it."
