My bill is usually $200-$300 per month. I started making my family call me instead of me calling them, that helped a bit.

What really irks me is that I'm also paying around $350 a month in interest payments on my credit cards.

Why exactly did I decide to spend 6 years in grad school? Ugh.

The combined total for the bills of Michelle and I range from $100-$150/month.

We're on Rogers and most of our calls are to each other. We each get 1000 rogers-rogers minutes a month. We also have free evenings/weekends after 6:00. One other thing that cuts down on our costs is having a separate long distance calling card which allows us to call for $0.05/min with no monthly minimums and no additional connection fees.

I assume that you are on a plan and not doing pre-paid service.

fucking stupid fuckity fuck plan. yeaaaaah..Im going to buy a calling card i think u are right and that is the smartest solution, I just wish that there were more cell provider companies like in the UK, the competition really drives the rates down, and you get better deals on new phones as well. Damn north america, so behind the times.

Hopefully the big bandwidth auction they had earlier in the year will lead to some choice for us in the not-too-distant future.

We use a service called "Yak" for our LD charges and it works pretty well. I looked at calling cards, but I'm too lazy to find the best deals, and I'm prety happy with the 5 cents/min.
