OMG movie!

Just got back from GOF (yes, I know I'm late :))...

WOW. What a movie. The best so far, in my opinion.

- The twins. Actually said something! And it was funny! Plus they are too cute to be true. I loved when they just joked around in the background, smiling all over their adorable faces...

- The unforgivable curses. Avada Kedavra was just right. I felt a shiver everytime it was cast, especially the first time, right at the beginning. The book didn't make it that clear to me: you're dead. Just like that. Horrible.

- Cedric. The best corpse ever (sorry). But I mean it. He looked so cold !

- McGonagall rocks. Maggie Smith is such a great actress, stern and dignified, but you can just feel that she's got a really big heart. The way she comforted Harry with that shoulder pat - sniff.

- Neville "I killed Harry Potter" Longbottom!!! Poor kid, it was so cruel of Moody to make him watch the Cruciatus up close - I nearly cried :(....

- Snape-Dumbledore interaction. Always interesting how supportive Snape is. He even put his hand on Dumbly's back in Moody's room. If I hadn't been convinced that Snape was Dumbledore's man before, this movie would have convinced me. And of course Alan Rickman knows it all...

- Loved the pensieve scene. Very chilling, very good acting (especially Barty and Karkaroff). I'm not so fond of Barty Jr., I think he overacted a bit (in general, not only in this scene), but he's supposed to be a bit, well, unhinged... I'm not sure.

- When Harry cried over Cedric's body, I cried as well. No wonder the poor boy is a bit unbalanced in book 5. Someone needs to give him a good hug (where was Molly???), poor baby.

- Cedric's "take a bath" scene was very slashy. All that nudge/wink business going on... Ha!

The only thing that dissappointed me a bit was Voldemort himself. I don't know what it was - maybe that he looked so healthy and alive. I imagined him being really thin with long arms and legs, and kind of "larger than life". For me he was just to normal, even without a proper nose.
His hand were pretty though.

And I still don't like Ginny. The gruesome image book 6 burned into my brain takes much more to be altered. Well, we still have book 7...
