That's totally where my eyes zoomed as well. The break in vanishing point is really brilliant and fresh, but it reads well and puts across a meaning very clearly, without just seeming like an empty visual flourish or trying to look "edgy." The light(er) neutral tones and tightly packed geometric pattern of the view at the end of the alley is also really engaging. Very nice!
Thanks, Justin! When I designed that alley, all I wanted to do was to emphasize the light area outside the dark. It seems to have done things I wasn't expecting or planning to do which is just fine. I just wish the jpeg artifacts weren't so bad this time around. Can't figure out why this one more than others except that it's red.
