Weekly Checkin..

I weighed myself this morning and I am down 5 pounds!!!! Very happy about that!!! Progress is good. I noticed some new "dimples" at the top of my thighs and upon examination - it's muscle starting to define itself some. It's just the barest of starts but I do seem to have more energy and I'm liking the small changes I am starting to see. I am ( Read more... )

Awesome! Slowly moving up your cardio time is a great plan. The lower back supports the abs when you work the mid-section. That's probably why they fire up and hurt. Most woman, myself especially, have weak lower backs. Working abs at first can really work a number on the whole core. If you are weighting your abs work, you may want to back off. Start abs work weight extra weight or the weight ab machines. Your own body weight is enough resistance at the moment. I've been training for over 10 years. I still don't weight my ab work.
