I almost always feel fat when my clothes don't fit. Or, as in the case of last night, when I'm around people who are Super fit and obviously work very hard for it and I feel guilty for not doing the same. I went to see Burn the Floor last night and saw some Truly Amazing dancer bodies!!!! Sometimes I also feel fat when I feel broke. And you're right, it's not about really feeling fat, it's more about feeling helpless. The size that fits you best is the size you should buy from that designer. Case in point, when I'm at my ideal weight I can wear anything from a size 6 to a size 10 depending on designer and/or manufacturer. I take a S or a M depending on manufacturer. Keep in mind, the better made the clothing, the better the fit. Spending $350 on a dress from Neiman's that you are going to wear to work once a week 3 seasons of the year is way better than say 4 dresses from Target that will ( ... )
