Suddenly, I have a deluge of emails asking why oh why have I failed?  Despite not attending, or earning a 30% quiz average, or never ever ever turning in a single assignment on time and complete, or just being a big stupid moronface from the land of outrageous dunderheads, why have I failed?

Bah.

The future is grim and colorless.

I am sorry. Kill them all? We can eat them, and then not have to spend money buying meat, which helps us save in this economy! Plus, less stupid people=good!

Believe me, I know how that is. Deep, deep sympathies.

On the other hand, there was the time I'd misgraded 80% of my class. They're not always wrong. Usually, but not always.

These students are wrong--they have failed fair and square, but that really doesn't make me feel any better. It's the I could have been a better shepherd thing.
