Pillowcase Dolls

I have always wanted to make dolls from vintage pillowcases,
but they are hard to find.
Luckily I found 3 at SAFF last year.
I finally got around to making the dolls and had so much fun dressing them.

No, I don't make these to sell. It took a lot of time and trial and error to get the doilies to work too. It was a labor of love for my granddaughters.

I bought the pattern on Ebay (I think). I googled pillow case dolls and found it. The dolls are a pretty simple pancake doll. You can purchase a kit that includes a pillow case but you have to embroider it and I wanted to use some old pillow cases I had. I hope this helps.
