Went in like grade 7 or 8 with school, and this girl I vaguely commented that everyone there was in love. She was right.
Went a few summers ago, and was at some cool pub that you had to walk down this little stone alley to get to (you entered onto the back patio). But really, you can't miss with just about anything in the old city. Make sure to drink plenty of Belle Guelle and eat fresh cheese curds.
Belle Guelle's a beer, ya. They often do that somewhat classy thing where they pour a little of your beer into a glass for you, so you can see just how freaking murky some of those Quebec beers are.
And wine would probably go better with the cheese. Or fries and gravy.
