My advice would be to get something for yourself. Yeah, it's kind of selfish, but from reading your lj you've had a shitty semester people-wise. Spoil yourself a little, you probably deserve it. :)

I do believe they still sell CD players, I'm not sure how cheap they'll be. It's an outdated/marginalized technology, which means one of two things: they'll be dirt cheap because demand is low and they want to move them, or they'll be massively expensive because demand is low and they want to push you to get an mp3 player instead.

If you're not coming back until the 22nd when are your classes done!? Are you just sticking around in Boston for a bit longer?

Haha, once I get to Rochester, I'll be there until the 15th. Emerson is terrible; they have the minimum required number of days in session to still get federal funding.
