So last semester I took a 300-level poetry writing course. It was probably the best class I ever took, and it made me decide I wanted to go to grad school for poetry. Since I already took the highest-level poetry class offered at my college, I decided to step down to a 200-level for my last semester here. Just to keep in shape, you know? Oh, I considered dropping. But the only other poetry class open had a professor who was notorious on RateMyProfessor for just being straight-up terrible. So I decided to go with the unknown evil over the known one.
