How did you hear about the articles?
"If only by default-who else has the time and energy to devote to such causes?" so truee

pirate-friendly YouTube--- this thought popped into my head today, wierd

it was only a matter of time before they asked, “What do those bitches from Laguna Beach have that I don’t?” (Well, plenty-but certainly not star quality.) loool

This article really brings about the quality issue, which is great.

Frankly, my dear, you’re not in my Top 8 anymore.” lool
mean, even my mom has a MySpace now---scary isnt it?

Loved it, very relavent very now

Yeah I finally got my mom's friend request today, coincidentally. (I knew it was coming.) I need to call her and explain why I'm rejecting her before I do it.

nice piece--that's a big topic that's got a lot of speculation surrounding it right now, but i'm glad to see you didn't bite off more than you could chew. do you think your editor there is savvy to the topic?

Yeah it was a big topic. There's a lot more I could have covered, but then again, what I try and I do in my column is make more of a commentary than an informative piece. I'm not the news after all. I really have no idea what my editor knows about this stuff; we haven't discussed it. I haven't seen much in the magazine web-related.

Yes, God forbid that old people should catch on to anything. :)

Some things are meant to have a generation gap. :)

Ha, I really liked the "Frankly my dear, you're not in my Top 8 anymore." I might use that sometime.

I was thinking what some lines would be like if Internet culture had invaded sooner.

Perhaps the Terminator would have said, "I'll brb."

And Don Corleone might have said, "I made him a fantasy football offer he couldn't refuse."

That's all I've got for now.

Good. I was worried the "frankly my dear..." comment might be a stretch. But if I have amused one person, I feel I have done my job. :)

I actually tried to think of other potential lines but none of the ones I thought of were good enough to use. I do like your Terminator one though.
