Hóla chica--Just thought I'd drop in two cents. Grad school is definitely a worthy goal and investment, but just curious if you've defined your career goals and what you'd plan to do after completing the degree. You probably have, but these are some of the things I thought about before going to MBA school. What do you want to pursue, and what is preventing you from getting there? Is a graduate degree a minimum entry requirement to that field? Can people obtain that career without a graduate degree...if yes, how? Does a graduate degree help get a job in that field--and--would it increase your salary?

Re: your comments above. Admittedly, I don't know about music degrees, but I'm not sure that a second undergrad (in music performance) would be required to earn a master's degree in music. For some, yes it's required...i have a friend who wants to become a doctor (he has a business / Spanish degree) and is getting another undergrad degree in biology or chemistry so he can apply for med school.

Ciao,
JC
