i used to like earthquakes. now that i live in a basement apartment under a rickety old house in san francisco, I don't like them much anymore. especially when they wake me up. my ikea loft bed really shakes back and forth and hits the walls and makes quite a racket. oh well. only three more months of living like this. lets hope the big one
