speaking of students in lebanon, it turns out that one of my pharmacy school classmates was in the air about 6 hours away from landing at the airport when it got bombed. now he is appearantly stuck in london and trying to get back to california. sometimes i'm glad that i'm broke and unadventurous.

speaking of bombs, there was a bomb scare on the metro yesterday because some dumb shmuck left his backpack on the train. I had to wait an extra 20 minutes!!!
