i can most definitely say that this is one of my favorite fics in this fandom, period. it involves character death (obviously) and the supernatural, but it's such a well-executed fic. from the characterization to the writing style, everything is practically spot-on. don't let the word count intimidate you; you will enjoy this one, i guarantee it, even if you tend to shy away from deathfics.
