Book 3: Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
I had never read Pride and Prejudice, or even seen the movie (any of the myriad versions), and I decided it was time to rectify that. All I knew what that it had someone named Mr. Darcy in it. :)
I really enjoyed the book. Once I got into it I had a difficult time putting it down. The characters were great, and I have to admit, I had a really hard time believing Mr. Darcy was a bad guy.
There were a few grammatical details that had me stumped while reading though. Can anyone explain to me what the heck ----shire means? I think there was something else, but I've forgotten what it was now.
I now want to watch a movie version, but there are so many to choose from. I'll gladly take recommendations for movie versions, as well as for which Jane Austen novel I should read next.
