hey just a thought.. isn't this thought a milder gist of what that article I'd linked to conveyed?

Hmm, no. I don't feel that way. This one positively talks about going after what you want and not being bogged down by any sort of negativity. While that article just kept saying that we are weak and not strong enough to face life. It was too cynical.
This one says this:
Everyone has it within his power to say, 'This I am today, that I will be tomorrow' "
While that article said that our generation does not have the capacity to make a statement like that.

I guess its the way I looked at it.. I took from the article that one has to be strong and break out of the habit of passing the blame on to other ppl and circumstances.. Everyone is capable of doin most things except they have to stop being lazy and work at it.. I feel the author was only trying to convey that which is almost along the same lines as what this quote but I definitely agree that he put it across in a very harsh way..
