I got through round 10 of my prototype Shipwreck Shawl last night. I will not tell you how many times I frogged back to row 2 for various reasons, the most common being that the stitch pattern didn't look right or the piece wouldn't lie flat.

The cats have learned to stay away from the yarn or face the squirt bottle of doom and cursing in a language they don't understand. Now if I could just keep them off the laptop, the stove, and my pillow I'd be all set.

I'm in Portugal for a nice long visit with the boyfriend. He's a lawyer here and works practically 24/7, but we're hoping he'll be able to come visit me in the States next year.
