As for your arthritis, I would strongly suggest you look into a whole-food plant-based diet. High-fat diets damage our blood vessels, hardening them, preventing them from dilating and restricting and interfering with nutrient flow across the membranes; as you can imagine, we are very susceptible in our back where the vessels are right up against the bone, so there is little room for play. Let me know if you have any questions; I've been strictly plant-based for several months now, started transitioning a year ago, and am never going back.

Once upon a time I did try to have a more limited diet, it did not end well because I couldn't always plan to have food available within the correct parameters. I travel a lot less now so it's probably more feasible, but I found myself so distressed at the time that I feel more comfortable keeping my omnivorous capabilities up to par. Sometimes all I have to go on is a bag of Cheetoes from a vending machine, I need to be able to make that work.
